What and Who is this Bimbo in Limbo?!
Emily Eden created the lifestyle blog The Bimbo in Limbo. THE BIL began as a passion project documenting her dilemmas about the last single-girl years of minimalistic adulting with humor and heart. Having been a fitness professional for many years in New York City, it shares advice on keeping active, healthy eating, as well as all things fashion and beauty related. THE BIL is the next big thing in the world of Lifestyle Blogs. Watch out Blonde Salad, there’s a new blonde in town.
More Blurb from THE BIL herself!
Welcome to… me. I’m Emily aka The Bimbo in Limbo!
My husband: “Why are you calling your blog that and well, yourself, a bimbo?”
My response: “I’m blonde with big boobs and oodles of personality. Do you think people look at me and think to themselves ‘I bet she’s a neuroscientist’?”
The truth is, I decided to call my blog The Bimbo in Limbo (or THE BIL for short) as a result of recent events. I constantly find myself living in a state of ‘What comes next?’. And truth be told, this is the first time in my life that as a result of not having a job, I finally have time to do what I love! I can now dedicate my time to writing about my life and things that I feel passionate about. #livingtheMFdream
So keep scrolling through THE BIL and discover all things fashion, my fave beauty products, fit -life and my normal approach to dieting. Oh and if you feel like you want to get to know me a little better, then be sure to check out my blog posts listed under the Lifestyle tab, where I will be sharing my deliberating dilemmas and accidental adventures as I enter this next chapter of my life.
Don’t forget to subscribe, be social by commenting on posts or by sliding into my DMs and lastly…
Live with love,

Beauty Boop!
My thoughts and beauty hacks that I share with Beauty Boop are genuine. These are products that I have actually bought and that I believe make a difference to my skin and hair. I hope you find some things you will love too!
The Closet Dolly
When I was young and broke, I worked overnight shifts for a major fashion retailer just for the discount. I love fashion and I love shopping. Creating looks is an art expression.
REMINDER: The fashion industry promotes unnatural and unhealthy beauty standards. You are beautiful as you are!
The Unicorn Diet
It took me ten years to lose a hundred pounds- not a month. I don’t agree with fad diets or extreme measures. I’m a believer in implementing healthy habits and a treat here and there. Perhaps this doesn’t lead to looking like Kendall Jenner, but to achieve that I would need a leg extension anyway- we have different body makeup. So my motto is a bit of cake here and there equals happy times!
Fit Dolly
I was the girl who hated exercise. I had B cups aged 11 and have never forgotten the horror of being told by my PE teacher that I should get a ‘proper’ sports bra to stop being a distraction for the boys in my class. I spent the next five years crying wolf with ‘cramps’ to get out of any sporting activity. This lead to me being overweight and inactive but by the age of 25 I decided to change my lifestyle. I lost a hundred pounds, became a Fitness Instructor in NYC and have even run several marathons. Who would have thought eh? Kebab eating me certainly didn’t…
THE BIL Blog
These days I find myself in limbo…
For the first time ever I cannot imagine what my future looks like! Newly married, losing eggs rapidly (apparently) and becoming weary of city life, I have no idea what’s next in store for me. Should I give life a try in the slow lane? Am I ready to become a mum? Can you wear a sequin gown to a countryside pub? THE BIL Blog covers all this and more. Grab a drink, light some candles for ambience and get reading!
