If you read THE BIL’s last post and have been anywhere near social media, then you will know that THE BIL nailed it with the predictions for spring trends of 2025. Bag charms and powder blue has been everywhere and worn by everyone at fashion week. Be it on the cat walk or by the guest in attendance, mocha suede and oversized teddy bears in the form of keychains (aka bag charms) could be spotted in abundance.

Personally, I have always erred on the side of delicate jewelry items. Until now.

On a recent trip to AMT Vintage in Jersey City, I stumbled across some stunning vintage, oversized, gold plated CC Chanel earrings. I stared at them longingly and walked away. But I could not stop thinking about them. This peaked my interest in shopping vintage. So I signed up for the Manhattan Vintage Fair. I ended up finding two more stunning pairs of oversized gold earrings and this was the beginning of my new obsession. STATEMENT EARRINGS. And admittedly (don’t tell my husband) I have since bought some more and yes… I went back three weeks later for the Chanel CC’s. And let’s not forget that oversized earrings can be excellent conversation starters!

Miu Miu… Prada… they may claim to have done it first but the truth is, it doesn’t matter because unless you want to, you don’t have to go up to that price point to find a stunning lust worthy bowling style bag.

What is a bowling bag? A bowling bag is a new trending handbag that is on the small to medium size but with oversized in length straps. There are so many exquisite ones out there. Even vegan styles! And of course in so many colors.

I am telling you these bags will be the IT PURSES of the year.
