This recipe is Vegan!
Who else loves pumpkin spice and all things nice? If so, then this the ultimate smoothie recipe for you!
Plus, it’s really easy, quick and the perfect protein addition to any diet!
Ingredients
- 1 Banana (I prefer mine frozen)
- 1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder (I like to add my pre-natal protein)
- 1 Tbs of Almond Butter
- 1 Tbs of Maple Syrup
- 1 Heaped Tsp of Pumpkin Spice
- 1/4 Tsp of Vanilla Extract (optional)
- 1 Cup of Oat Milk
- A few cubes of Crushed Ice
Directions:
Prep Time 5 Minutes!
- Add all ingredients to the blender.
- Blend until smooth or you reach your desired consistency.
Ingredient Swaps:
- You can use any type of protein powder with this smoothie recipe. This does not have to be vegan! But I do recommend using Vanilla even if it is a whey based protein.
- If you are in the mood for some extra indulgence, why not substitute chocolate protein powder for the vanilla! It’s the most delicious add in to this pumpkin spice smoothie concoction.
- If maple syrup isn’t your go to sweetener, use agave or honey.
- Oat Milk for any milk of your choice.
Helpful Tips:
If you are looking to cut back the calories but a larger quantity, add more ice cubes and forgo the sweetener.
Add more ice cubes and almond butter, then blend for a shorter period to achieve a thicker consistency with your smoothie.
If you don’t have vanilla extract, use a vanilla flavored dairy free milk instead!
Play around with the quantity of pumpkin spice if my suggestion is too much or not enough for you.
For my Mama’s to be out there I highly recommend this Vanilla Protein Powder! It is so delicious and full of benefits during your pregnancy!
Let me know how much you love it! I could drink this every day… and I do!
