Yes, it has been a while since The Bil has brought you fashion tips… but hurrah- I’m back at last! From what colors to wear and the must have accessories, keep reading to find out what your wardrobe needs to be on trend this spring.
CHOCOLATE BROWN SUEDE (Preferably faux…)
If you haven’t seen a chocolate brown suede trench coat, blazer or bag pop up in your instagram feed yet, then check your algorithm. Chocolate Brown Suede jackets, bags and boots are a hot commodity right now and are selling out everywhere. Below are some of my fave pieces for all budgets.
POWDER BLUE
Baby blue, cornflower blue or powder blue. This color is pushing burgundy out and taking center stage. With powder blue tights being the thing to wear with a skirt or shorts this spring.
BAG CHARMS
Yes. Bag Charms are the accessory right now. Everything from having a cute teddy bear croissant hanging off your Louis Vuitton Speedy to a cherry charm from Amazon, bag charms are the way to express yourself and show your personality no matter your age. These fun accessories can be seen on all types of purses. Yes even Birkins!
SHOE CHARMS
I’m telling you charms are trending. Not only on bags but on your shoes too. Whether you are team veja or team adidas, you’re going to want to add a bit of bling and ribbon to your sneakers.
TRENDS THAT ARE STICKING AROUND
There are some fashion trends going nowhere this spring including;
- Ballet Style Shoes – Ballet flats have become more extreme. Basically they have been less imagined and are now closer to looking like actual ballet slippers. Jeffrey Campbell even released a ballet slipper cowboy boot which has sold out and Louboutin released these stunning heels. But don’t fret, Sam Edelman has some cute pairs on their site and in Powder Blue color too!
- Matching Vests and Pants. I for one love co-ord sets. They take out the thinking of getting dressed!
- Athleisure Wear. Mamas everywhere praise the fashion gods for letting this trend stick around and still remain cool. Our gratitude is real.
