Being English, I was paranoid about my teeth once I moved to NYC. Whenever I would go on a date, one of the compliments (if you can call it that) I would always receive was “Wow you have such nice teeth for a British person”. Yup. True that…
So, I decided I wanted to have bright white teeth. So I booked myself a session at a dentist that overlooked Central Park. Once there, the dentist held up a chart against my teeth. He told me I already had the whitest “natural” shade of teeth that one can have. I told him I was an actress and needed them whiter. He strongly advised against it and said it could harm my career if I went bright white. So we compromised and he whitened them one shade brighter.
Not only did I leave disappointed as my teeth didn’t look that different, but that night I went to waitress and experienced excruciating pain. The air conditioning in the restaurant was killing me and causing me extreme tooth sensitivity from the cold. I could only imagine the agony had I have gone crazy white… And in high in sight, I have realized he was completely right. I would have looked pretty ‘fake’ had I have really pushed him to whiten them.
So yes. Professional whitening will work but ask yourself if you really need to spend that much money or can be bothered with all the pain and teeth sensitivity.

Arm & Hammer Toothpaste
Yes. This cheap toothpaste is the best product you can use to whiten your teeth. Honestly the Arm and Hammer whitening toothpaste works! Admittedly it doesn’t taste that great (almost salty) but you’ll instantly see the difference.
Crest Whitestrips
Best $30 you’ll ever spend!!! Pop a Crest Whitestrip on your teeth for half hour and voila! Sparkling teeth. Just don’t go too far and sleep in them… the pain the next day is not worth it, trust me! Heads up, if you have sensitive teeth and gums you will feel these after a few minutes of having them on.
Snow Teeth Whitening Kit All-in-One
If you really want to get the job done and you want to whiten your teeth then look no further than the Snow Teeth Whitening Kit All-in-One. This is what I was using in the video that I shared, and you can see the results in the after video. I only used it for 10 minutes and I had my teeth that little bit whiter than a dentist would recommend. Best part? I had no pain in my gums or teeth as a result of sensitivity whatsoever (and I have extremely sensitive teeth and gums). In conclusion, this is hands down the best investment you can make for whiter teeth!
